Interested in caring for children, Interested in Travel?

Travel to the United States with a one-year work visa to care for the children of a family you choose. The following is an example of a benefit package that will be offered to you during your one-year stay working in the USA:

Room & board provided; 
Weekly pocket money;
4 Day Orientation near New York City ;

(transportation, hotel and meals provided)

Tuition allowance US $500.00 provided;  
Free Flight to USA; and  
Medical & Personal Liability Insurance.    
 

Can I apply? 

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

bullet Be aged 18 to 26 years old
bulletHold a valid driver’s license
bullet have at least 200 hours recent, practical childcare experience, such  as regular babysitting for non-family members, helping at a local school, youth group, etc — your local interviewer can help you in classifying your experience.
bullet in order to care for children under 2 years old, the 200 hours experience must be with children under 2 and you must be aged at least 19 years old
bullethave completed your secondary education ( High School )
bulletspeak English
bullet not have a criminal record and be able to provide a police record check or certificate of good conduct
bullet agree to the programme’s code of conduct and rules
bullet agree to a full year’s commitment
bullet not have previously participated in an au pair programme to the USA
